NAFOR’s Take on AI in Recruitment

Artificial intelligence has created new efficiencies in recruitment, especially in the early stages of a search. It can scan large volumes of information, organize data, and streamline the administrative side of hiring. When used well, AI helps search professionals work with greater precision and efficiency.

However, technology has boundaries, especially when the goal is to evaluate human leadership. AI cannot interpret ambition, sincerity, judgment, or the small but meaningful cues that reveal how a person thinks and operates. Motivation, character, interpersonal awareness, and the subtle cues revealed in a conversation cannot be reliably evaluated by an algorithm. In many cases, these human traits matter more than anything that shows up on a resume.

At NAFOR, AI supports our process, but it never determines outcomes. We use it to improve accuracy, eliminate administrative friction, and gain more time for what actually matters: human evaluation. We conduct deep interviews, behavioural assessments, and thoughtful conversations that bring forward the qualities no automated system can measure. This balance allows us to be efficient without compromising the rigour and judgment required to select exceptional leaders.

AI strengthens recruitment. Humans complete it. NAFOR remains committed to both.
