As a Mechanical Design Engineer at STAK, you will solve real production challenges inside automotive assembly environments, from installing sunroofs and securing wheels to designing strut and muffler assist devices and fully integrated assembly workstations. Using your expertise, you will design assembly lines, custom parts, and mechanical subsystems that move quickly from concept to the factory floor at many of North America’s leading automotive manufacturers. Your solutions will improve safety, quality, speed, and cost, with many becoming unique, one-off designs tailored to specific production lines. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two projects are the same. You will work very closely with the Head of Engineering, gain more hands-on experience in one year than five years at an OEM or large manufacturer, and benefit from clear career progression built into the role.
