POSITION SUMMARY

 

We are seeking a Product Manager – Marketing Analytics to join our Product Development team. This role will drive business intelligence for tracking and web analytics of TMP’s recruitment marketing efforts. Using strong strategic judgment, deep analytical skills and strong intellectual curiosity, this role will be responsible for the collection, analysis, and presentation of various web metrics. Working with Google Analytics, DoubleClick and other web analytics platforms, you will develop regular and ad-hoc reports, analyze trends, summarize and present findings, and articulate key insights to internal stakeholders. The Product Manager – Web Analytics will work with business owners to build strategic insights, best practices and data stories for internal and external clients.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

You will play a large role in determining TMP’s analytics program: what data to collect, how to classify it, how to provide insights and recommendations based on the data collected. You will help craft the complex into simple terms, how traffic, engagement and conversion within TMP’s ecosystem assist in the achievement of our client's brand and recruitment objectives.

 

·         Provide thought leadership and support to provide high quality digital data across all of TMP’s properties

·         Partner with internal teams to develop the necessary medium and processes: dashboards, reporting, analysis and recommendations

·         Use audience segmentation tools to better understand and quantify user behavior

·         Help support the day-to-day operations of the Web Analytic programs

·         Ensure the measurement of existing and emerging channels (web, mobile, social). Partner with the teams, clients and vendors that support these capabilities and initiatives.

·         Contributes to product enhancement and identify, recommend and help implement custom solutions of third party tools to meet business needs

·         Translate business requirements in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria

·         Participate in cross-functional teams made up of people from software development, QA, product management, services and UI Design teams to design and deliver high quality solutions through multiple releases.

·         Collaborating closely with Product Marketing, Executives and Sales on product roadmap and strategy

·         Defining the product requirements, user experience, beta programs and launch requirements

·         Being an active team member in the development process (Agile) to ensure successful development cycles and error-free launches

·         Working closely with the Implementation Team on post-launch planning and training

·         Defining and analyze success metrics to ensure product acceptance and quality.

·         Provide regular status reports and updates to senior executives

·         Work both collaboratively and independently while maintaining a high level of productivity

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

·         Bachelor’s Degree

·         Experience with Business Intelligence and/or Analytics Tools like Tableau

·         Experience in the recruitment marketing space is not required, but would be a plus

·         3+ years of product management experience or business analysis with internet based software

·         Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and DoubleClick, including a strong understanding of how to create, test and debug tags

·         Proficiency in developing custom reports, advanced segments, configuring website analytics and providing analysis during the presentation of finding

·         Strong quantitative analysis skills, ability to quickly identify and solve problems

·         Basic knowledge of SQL to be able to analyze source data, exposure to other programming languages is a plus

·         Ability to balance technical skills with business savvy and know how to transform end-user needs into technical and functional requirements

·         Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

·         Experience with a geographically distributed development team.

·         Proficiency in Social Media sites and tools

·         Past experience using AGILE to develop internet based software
