ABOUT THE CLIENT |
Our client is a large Canadian Real Estate company. We are happy to discuss

POSITION SUMMARY |
Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning, you will be responsible for functions related to financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting. You will help coordinate the planning, production, organization, coordination and monitoring of the annual budget and monthly forecasting.
RESPONSIBILITIES |

Independently perform
budget, forecasting and research duties
·
Perform financial
analysis needed to support decision making by senior staff
·
Gather, organize and
accurately analyze large amounts of data
·
Analyze and interpret
variances
·
Prepare a variety of
reports and make recommendations
·
Monitor actual financial
performance and compare to budgetary and forecasted projections
·
Manage tasks, time, and
allocate resources effectively
·
Plan and organize to
meet rigid schedules and demanding time-lines
·
Quickly grasp technical
financial principles and procedures and execute more than one function at a
time
·
Efficiently leverage
existing systems to maximize value
·
Interact with Senior
Management as needed
·
Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS: |
·
3-5 years relevant
experience with at least 2 years in Financial Analysis (Retail/Real Estate
would be preferred.)
·
University degree in
accounting, business or related discipline.
·
Final stages of
accounting designation or MBA (completion would be preferred).
·
Experience performing
detailed, value-add analysis.
·
Strong MS Excel skills
(Hyperion and JD Edwards experience are assets)
·
Ability to manipulate
large volumes of data (link files, run pivot tables, VLookups
and work with formulae).
·
Must be detail oriented.
·
Excellent oral and
written communication skills.
·
Excellent interpersonal
skills, with the ability to effectively interact with various levels of staff.
