Job Descrpiption
This role is all about supporting the sales team and keeping orders organized. CTi designs, produces and ships millions of potted plant containers to North Americas largest retailers. Having grown by 500% over a 10 year period, CTi is a dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial company. The products you help sell end up in every state and province in North America. We need you to help keep all the moving parts organized. This is the type of company where you will gain more hands on experience in one year than five years at a multi-national company. The office is fun and the atmosphere is friendly. You will work very closely with the Sales Manager.

You will work closely with the Sales team to coordinate the marketing and distribution of our industry leading products. We are looking for someone that is highly-organized, driven, entrepreneurial and loves to work in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the sales team with inputting orders and quotes including checking client purchase orders for accuracy. e.g. SKU's, price, colour, size, delivery dates etc.
- Manage customer questions, requests and correspondence on behalf of the sales team via email, phone and social media.
- Work closely with client buying teams to clarify incoming order discrepancies and inaccuracies to ensure clients are in fact ordering what they had initially set out to order. i.e. find and fix client inputting errors.
- Manage phone queries for the sales group.
- Manage shipping container volumes to help minimize transportation costs for clients such as Home Depot and Lowe's (containerization).
- Assist the sales team with preparation for client meetings including presentations, quotes, sales data queries and travel arrangements.
- Respond to client requests for orders and manage the approval process.
- Coordinate sample orders for shipment to clients.
- Communicate and check-in with clients as needed.
- Input data, order details, addresses etc. and set up online interfaces (feeds) as per client specifications as needed. i.e. connect to Walmart's computer system.
- Assist with trade show planning and coordination.
- Build sales and data reports as requested from our internal system or outside vendor systems.
- Input new items and products into our internal order systems.
- Take meeting notes and forward to appropriate parties in a clear concise manner.
- Create master summary reports of orders as required.
- Support and organize sample shipments for clients as needed.
- Maintain and update client contact and mailing lists.
- Above average attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work within tight time frame's and project deadlines
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook),
- Basic Photoshop or similar experience an asset
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Independent and comfortable working with little direction
- For the most part, working hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm (excluding holidays). However, flexible hours are sometimes necessary. Occasionally, tight deadlines may require late hours.
