SUMMARY
This role reports to the Vice President of ParaMed and will provide centralized strategic and tactical leadership to operating divisions of the ParaMed home health business. It works with other members of the leadership team to identify and exploit opportunities for operational efficiencies and quality improvement in our delivery of in-home services for seniors across the care spectrum.
The ideal candidate for the District Director will be a seasoned operations or healthcare professional that enjoys people leadership and team development. They should have a track record that demonstrates strong problem solving and an aptitude for using data to drive business decisions. Strong stakeholder engagement experience is an asset. The successful candidate will demonstrate a desire to learn the details of operations in community healthcare with a focus on quality and service excellence.

SALARY - $90,000 to $115,000 plus benefits

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide overall accountability for clinical service excellence, human resources, financial management, and stakeholder relations
- Analyze results and report on operational performance, financial results and compliance matters on a monthly basis.
- Analyze trends and recommend/implement actions to address operational metrics
- Support the regional team to drive operational performance to achieve targets for profitability, productivity and efficiency.
- Support ParaMed's leadership to identify unique regional needs and develop plans to address them consistent with Paramed policies, procedures and standards.
- Work collaboratively with the Finance, People & Culture, and Information Technology teams to implement improvement projects such as standard operating procedures, new employment models and compensation plans, data driven scheduling algorithms and other operational changes.
- Act as an organizational champion to initiate and manage change.
- Provide coaching and motivation for all staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Degree in business or related field is preferred
- Track record of continued career progression
- At least 3 years of operations management and direct line management of a large team. Experience in healthcare and Home care an asset.
- History of providing consistent and meaningful leadership to direct line reports with clear performance expectations and targets
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements and solve problems
- Strong analytical skills including budget development and financial reporting
- Experience managing large customer relationships
- Display a commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement
- Fluency in Excel and data manipulation/insight generation
